Job Description

As a Senior/Principal/Expert Solution Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to the prospects. You will work closely with the prospects to understand their payment requirements and recommend solutions that best meet their needs. You will also collaborate with our product and engineering teams to ensure that our payment solutions are up-to-date and aligned with industry standards.

What you'll be doing:

  • Be the technical expert on our Products and their implementation/integration into clients’ environments  
    • Understand client payment requirements and recommend solutions that meet their needs
    • Design the best workflows to be integrated to fulfill the prospect’s business use cases
    • Work very closely with the prospect to drive the implementation of our product 
    • Leverage and deploy the implementation toolkit used in-house to automate the integration work 
    • Identify where the implementation toolkit can evolve and work proactively to improve it 
    • Work closely with the product and engineering teams to ensure that our payment solutions are up-to-date and aligned with industry standards
    • Drive technical and functional workshops offering knowledge and insight to prospects
    • Participate in product development and provide feedback on new features and functionalities
    • Work to shorten implementation timelines whilst striving for product quality and client satisfaction  
    • Provide technical support to clients during the implementation and integration of our payment solutions

  • Understand and detect market trends, emerging technical needs and future business challenges of our prospects and escalate them to the teams in charge of the roadmap
    • Identify any recurring issues, or opportunities for Product or process improvement and report them to the internal teams and product partners 
    • Be the voice of the customer during internal meetings on the ongoing and forthcoming projects 
    • Follow up and inform our prospects about new features or future evolutions of our Product

  • Cultivate a trusted, long-lasting, and positive client experience

Qualifications :

  • 4+ years of experience working as a Solution Engineer, Implementation Engineer, and/or Solution Architect
  • Payment industry experience is a big plus
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with APIs, SDKs, and payment methods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams
  • Very comfortable conducting tech discussions with customers covering tech aspects of the product 
  • You are a creative problem solver
  • You are analytical and know how to anticipate and adapt
  • You are proactive, curious, rigorous, and responsive
  • Fluent or very high proficiency in English. 
  • Optional but valued if you can speak German and/or French fluently or at a very high level. Please indicate if you can speak these languages fluently on your CV.
