Job Description

We're recruiting a talented Engineering Manager to join our growing technology team, based in Poland, France, the UK, Germany, Spain, Ireland, or Luxembourg.

You’ll support Mangopay’s mission by helping to power the payment infrastructure and operations of the world's biggest and most exciting marketplaces and platforms, taking responsibility for our best-in-class Smart Wallet solution.

What will you be responsible for?

• Lead and mentor team members through regular 1:1s meetings, skills development, and goal-setting
• Recruit and build a high-performing team of Developers and QA Engineers
• Coordinate delivery schedules and priorities with other tech managers and the wider organization
• Enhance and streamline working methods, including defining acceptance criteria with QA and Product Management
• Collaborate with Product Management to break down technical tasks and prioritize effectively
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, and performance
• Serve as the technical authority and provide guidance on feature development

Requirements

Experience with all of the below is not required (but if you know it's even better). There are a couple that are very important to this role though:

• 3+ years of professional experience as an Engineering Manager (required)
• .NET 6 experience (required)
• Experience working in the payments industry (highly beneficial)
• RabbitMQ 
• PostgreSQL, MSSQL
• Git (GitLab), TeamCity, Octopus Deploy
