JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Head of Product Marketing to join our marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing the go-to-market strategy for our fraud prevention and AML solutions based on comprehensive market research and an understanding of customers' pain points. You will work closely with the Head of Marketing, the Head of Fraud and AML product directors, and Training to ensure alignment on product positioning, messaging, and market needs while collaborating across multiple time zones.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Reporting to the CMO, you will understand the target audience’s everyday challenges and pain points and succinctly explain how our solutions help solve customer problems. You will closely collaborate with product owners, marketing content designers, writers, training, and product developers.
The following are some of the key responsibilities and requirements for this role:
- Develop and implement comprehensive product marketing strategies for fraud prevention, money mule detection, and AML solutions, focusing on leveraging AI and machine learning technologies.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer pain points, and competitive landscape, ensuring alignment with product-market fit.
- Craft compelling narratives that convey the complexity and innovation behind our AI-led solutions to facilitate understanding and adoption.
- Collaborate with the product management team to gain an in-depth understanding of product features, benefits, and competitive advantages, clearly communicating unique value propositions.
- Work with the Head of Marketing to align marketing initiatives with product strategies, ensuring cohesive storytelling across all channels.
- Create effective sales materials to support the sales team, including sales presentations, product demonstrations, battle cards, and case studies highlighting our AI capabilities.
- Build visually compelling presentations to effectively tell our product stories and illustrate value propositions.
- Shape marketing content that articulates our value proposition and aligns with customer needs, focusing on insights, proof points, and data points.
- Develop sales playbooks to guide sales strategies and objection handling.
- Work closely with freelance or contract designers to develop marketing materials, ensuring branding consistency and effective visual communication.
- Provide creative direction and feedback on design projects to align with strategic marketing goals.
- Lead cross-departmental projects requiring collaboration between marketing, design, and technology teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of product marketing strategies.
- Develop a content strategy utilizing design elements effectively to enhance customer engagement and brand messaging.
- Integrate martech tools to optimize content delivery and engagement tracking.Analytics and reporting: Utilize martech systems to track campaign performance, customer engagement, and conversion rates, bringing insights back to the team for strategic adjustments.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop sales tools and resources, including lead generation campaigns, email templates, and social media content.
- Manage and optimize existing marketing platforms, ensuring they align with product marketing strategies and deliver analytics to inform decisions.
- Measure and analyze the effectiveness of sales enablement initiatives, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement to stakeholders.
- Drive product launches, ensuring effective communication to internal and external stakeholders.
- Engage with customers and industry stakeholders to gather insights that inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Foster collaboration across different time zones, ensuring clear communication and team alignment.
- Act as a thought leader by representing the company at industry events, webinars, and panels.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Expert proficiency in English is required; bilingual Spanish will be given special consideration, while conversational Spanish will aid in dealing with international teams. Knowledge of Italian or French would be a bonus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Fluency in discussing and synthesizing complex technical details.
- Exceptional messaging and strong storytelling skills to a senior business buyer.
- Deep understanding of market trends and product lifecycles.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
- Familiarity with working in a remote or hybrid environment across multiple time zones.
- Visual storytelling and conceptualization skills in crafting compelling customer presentations
- A proactive and adaptable mindset, able to thrive in a fast-paced startup culture.
EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a technology organization in Fraud, AML, Compliance or Financial Crime or an adjacent field
- Experience working extensively in a B2B SaaS Software company vs. B2C
- Experience working in a global product marketing role in either a business unit, product line, or central product marketing team
- Fast-paced environment
- Proven track record of successful go-to-market strategies and product launches.
