The Reconciliation Manager will oversee and execute essential reconciliation processes, including Payment Service Provider (PSP) balances, player balances, and player cash reconciliations. You will act as the super user and administrator for our PSP reconciliation tool (Aurum), and work with multiple departments to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial reconciliations. As the reconciliation function is being established, this role will require someone who is proactive, detail oriented and ready to take a hands on approach.

What you will do:

  • Act as the process expert and administrator for the PSP (Payment Service Provider) reconciliation tool
  • Perform and manage the daily reconciliations of all PSP transactions and player balances in the system
  • Liaise with the Payments team to fix any unreconciled transactions, and perform manual adjustments in the system
  • Ensure all PSP transactions are accurately recorded in the GL, investigate reconciliation differences and post correcting journals
  • Develop and maintain reconciliation schedules and reports
  • Review and approve reconciliation reports, ensuring all discrepancies are properly investigated and resolved
  • Maintain effective communication and proactive collaboration with internal stakeholders, including Finance, Payments, BI and DevOps departments
  • Identify areas for improvement in the reconciliation process and implement best practices
    Provide leadership and direction to direct reports and junior team members

Who you are:

 

  • You have relevant reconciliation experience, ideally around PSPs, client balances and cash
  • You have previous experience using a reconciliation software, preferably Aurum
  • You showcase strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work with multiple departments
  • You come with proven leadership experience gained through previous roles and team management
  • You have an analytical mind, attention to detail and excellent organisational skill
  • You are an effective communicator
  • You have strong Excel skills
  • You are able to work on own initiative and to plan workload, having a pragmatic approach
  • Desirably you have worked in the online gaming industry
  • You have knowledge of accounting principles and processes
  • You are experienced in using a reconciliation software, preferably Aurum
