What We’re Looking For
We seek a talented Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy software for robotics space applications. If you have a solid background in modern C development, micro-controller skills, and want to play a critical role in advancing our autonomous robotics for space applications -> we want to hear from you.
Key Functions & Responsibilities
- Embedded Software Design & Development: Design system architecture and implement embedded software for various robotics applications. Develop prototypes to prove out key design concepts and quantify technical constraints.
- Documentation & Testing: Write comprehensive documentation of your code, build and execute from unit tests up to full-system tests.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with our overall robotics solutions.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to the software development throughout the development life-cycle.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve software systems through iterative testing, feedback, and enhancement cycles.
Qualifications
Need
- Proficient in developing in modern C for embedded Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
- Familiarity with GitHub for version control.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Wish
- Experience with space robotics or aerospace industry.
- Proven experience in system integration and working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with Docker and Linux.
- Understanding of low level communication protocols (CAN, UART).
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred).
