What You Will Do

• Optimize Multi-CDN & Edge Services: Manage and scale advanced edge configurations across premium providers (Cloudflare, Fastly, Gcore), including DNS, Edge Computing (Workers/Snippets), access control, and WAF policies.

• Architect Provider-Agnostic Resilience: Design and deploy multi-cloud failover strategies and high-availability solutions to guarantee global service continuity while actively preventing vendor lock-in.

• Drive Traffic & Performance Engineering: Monitor, analyze, and fine-tune global load balancing (GSLB), HTTP traffic handling, and advanced caching strategies to minimize global latency.

• Orchestrate Mass Domain & SSL Portfolios: Automate large-scale SSL/TLS provisioning and enforce unified security policies seamlessly across diverse platforms.

• Scale Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Build and maintain reusable, production-ready configurations using Terraform or OpenTofu to ensure all multi-provider infrastructure is highly consistent and fully auditable.

• Harden Security & Web Protection: Partner closely with internal security teams to deploy robust Rate Limiting, application-layer DDoS mitigation, and cutting-edge Bot Management.

• Champion Observability & Incident Response: Utilize centralized monitoring tools to tune performance across both application and edge layers, leading Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and actively participating in on-call rotations.

• Automate CI/CD Pipelines: Integrate edge and infrastructure configuration changes directly into CI/CD pipelines to fully automate and rigorously test deployments.

What You Bring

Requirements

• Proven Experience: 3+ years of dedicated experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a related production infrastructure role, with a strong, hands-on focus on Cloudflare ecosystems.

• Deep CDN & Protocol Expertise: Solid, foundational understanding of HTTP protocols, caching principles, and core content delivery mechanics.

• Cloudflare Mastery: Demonstrated skill in managing Cloudflare DNS, Firewall Rules, Page Rules, Workers, and adjacent edge services.

• Reverse Proxy Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Nginx (or similar proxies like Envoy and HAProxy) for complex reverse proxying and load balancing.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Practical, production-level experience managing infrastructure through Terraform.

• Core Networking & OS Fundamentals: Robust understanding of TCP/IP, routing, security best practices, and deep comfort navigating Linux environments paired with scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.).

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience utilizing Cloudflare Enterprise features (Argo, advanced caching, Workers KV).

• Familiarity with container orchestration systems (Kubernetes) and performance testing tools for edge optimization.

• Practical exposure to modern CI/CD systems (GitLab CI, Jenkins).

• Essential web security knowledge (advanced SSL management, custom security headers).
