What You Will Do

• Drive day-to day accounting operations with precision, managing revenue reconciliation, invoicing, banking, and Payment Service Provider (PSP) workflows.
• Orchestrate the preparation of monthly management accounts and deliver high-impact contributions to strategic financial reporting.
• Champion compliance by assisting in the preparation of annual statutory financial statements in strict accordance with evolving accounting standards.
• Serve as the primary, authoritative liaison for external auditors, meticulously preparing all necessary documentation and audit trails.
• Execute complex tax compliance and reporting, including Regulatory, VAT, and Corporate Income Tax (CIT) filings.
• Partner with internal departments to provide actionable financial guidance, support, and clarity on cross-functional initiatives.
• Spearhead ad-hoc financial projects and strategic tasks as directed by the Head of Finance.

What You Bring

• Industry Domain Expertise: Proven accounting experience within the iGaming sector is a must, specifically managing compliance/operations within US, Spanish, or Greek regulated markets.
• Credentials: Fully ACCA qualified, or holding an equivalent University degree in Accounting.
• Technical Toolkit: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel alongside hands-on, practical expertise utilizing SAP and Xero.
• Execution & Ownership: A proactive, self-starting mindset with a demonstrated ability to take full accountability for deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and collaborate smoothly across multiple international offices.
• Language Skills: Full professional fluency in both Maltese and English (written and spoken).
• Precision: An uncompromising attention to detail and a total commitment to financial integrity.
• Work Set-up: Commitment to working full-time on-site in Birkirkara, Malta.
