Manual QA Engineer

Our partner is looking for a Manual QA Engineer to champion quality and drive excellence across our core platform features, APIs, and integrations. In this role, you will not only perform deep end-to-end testing but also shape our overall platform test strategy, mentoring junior team members along the way. What You Will Do

• Execute end-to-end manual testing across core platform features, APIs, and integrations to ensure flawless performance.

• Investigate and localize complex issues using devtools, system logs, and databases to pinpoint root causes.

• Collaborate on test strategy by working with the team to evolve, implement, and improve the overall platform testing framework.

• Manage the defect lifecycle within Jira, tracking bugs from initial discovery through to successful resolution.

• Champion early product quality by partnering with Development, DevOps, and Product teams to identify risks early in the lifecycle.

• Support the release process to ensure smooth, reliable, and timely software deployments.

• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level QA engineers, fostering continuous improvement within the platform team.

What You Bring

• Proven experience in software testing, with a strong background in both Web and Mobile platforms.

• Deep backend testing expertise along with a solid understanding of client-server architecture.

• Advanced SQL proficiency, including the ability to write complex queries, perform joins, and interact with databases directly.

• Strong documentation skills with experience defining testing scopes and maintaining Test Plans, Test Cases, and Checklists.

• Analytical troubleshooting mindset with a scientific approach to problem-solving (e.g., analyzing network traffic, parsing logs).

• Excellent communication skills in fluent English and native-level Turkish to collaborate effectively with developers, architects, and product managers.

• Tool proficiency with Jira and Confluence.

• Bonus points for: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and hands-on experience with Allure TestOps.
