Senior Sport CRM Coordinator
Lisbon, Portugal
We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Senior CRM Sports Coordinator to support the execution and optimization of CRM strategies across our Sportsbook brands and markets.
The successful candidate will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and delivering customer engagement activities throughout the sports calendar, ensuring campaigns are relevant, personalized, compliant, and aligned with business objectives. Working closely with the Head of CRM, CRM Managers, Trading, Content, VIP, and Analytics teams, the role will contribute to improving player retention, engagement, and sportsbook revenues.
Key Responsibilities
CRM Campaign Management
The successful candidate will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and delivering customer engagement activities throughout the sports calendar, ensuring campaigns are relevant, personalized, compliant, and aligned with business objectives. Working closely with the Head of CRM, CRM Managers, Trading, Content, VIP, and Analytics teams, the role will contribute to improving player retention, engagement, and sportsbook revenues.
Key Responsibilities
CRM Campaign Management
- Coordinate the end-to-end delivery of Sports CRM campaigns across Email, SMS, Push Notifications, In-App Messaging and other available channels.
- Manage weekly and event-based CRM calendars aligned with major sporting events and business priorities.
- Ensure campaigns are executed accurately, on time, and according to regulatory requirements.
- Support the implementation of automated customer journeys and lifecycle communications.
Sportsbook Retention & Engagement
- Develop engaging CRM plans around key sporting events, tournaments, and seasonal moments.
- Identify opportunities to increase sportsbook activity, cross-sell, and customer reactivation.
- Collaborate with Trading and Commercial teams to promote key events, odds boosts, free bets, tournaments, and gamification initiatives.
Segmentation & Personalization
- Execute targeted campaigns based on customer behaviour, value, lifecycle stage, and sports preferences.
- Leverage customer insights and segmentation strategies to maximize relevance and engagement.
- Support testing strategies to improve conversion and retention performance.
Performance Analysis
- Monitor campaign performance and provide actionable recommendations.
- Track key KPIs including:
- Retention Rate
- Active Players
- Depositing Customers
- Sports Turnover
- Bonus Cost
- NGR Contribution
- Reactivation Performance
- Produce regular reporting and post-campaign analysis.
Operational Excellence
- Maintain high CRM execution standards and quality assurance processes.
- Coordinate campaign briefs and requirements with internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to CRM process improvements, automation initiatives, and best practice sharing across markets.
Experience
- 5+ years of CRM experience within iGaming, Sports Betting, or a related digital industry.
- Strong understanding of sportsbook customer behaviour and sports betting mechanics.
- Experience working with CRM platforms such as Optimove, Fast Track, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Adobe Campaign, or similar.
Skills
- Strong campaign planning and project coordination skills.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret campaign results and customer insights.
- Excellent organizational and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience across multiple regulated markets.
- Understanding of customer lifecycle management and retention strategies.
- Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies and CRM automation frameworks.
- Experience supporting gamification and promotional campaigns.
