ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Product Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the user experience of our industry-leading SaaS product. You will own design projects from both UI and UX perspective within one of our agile squads. By delivering user-centric, high performing solutions that align with our business objectives, you will help drive product improvement and enhance the experience of our clients & their customers.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about creating impactful and smart product solutions in a fast-evolving environment.

ABOUT THE TEAM:

We have a Product Design team of 6 talented professionals, deeply involved in crafting smart solutions for complex problems. We co-create, brainstorm and assist each other, to ensure we always hit the mark. If you are passionate about Design Systems, we may have some extra fun challenges for you.

We operate within collaborative, cross-functional squads, each tasked with specific responsibilities for introducing fresh features and enhancements to our platform. Each squad consists of experts specializing in Product Management, Frontend, Backend, Quality Assurance, Technical Writing and, of course, Product Designers.

AS OUR NEW PRODUCT DESIGNER, YOU’LL BE:

  • Developing a deep understanding of the market, our customer base and our product.
  • Establishing strong collaborative and supportive relationships with your squad and fellow designers.
  • Supporting our design processes, yet be flexible enough to adapt to more lean approaches when necessary.
  • Advocating for evidence-based decision making through proactive quantitative and qualitative research, data analysis and synthesis.
  • Delivering quality work with both evidence-based decision making and creative mindset, to bring impactful solutions into life.
  • Contributing in our Design System, making it more slick, mature & robust, ensuring its adoption within your solutions.
  • Effectively communicating design processes, ideas, and solutions to colleagues, clients and stakeholders.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a Product Designer role, preferably within the SaaS industry.
  • An inspiring portfolio showing excellent core UX and UI design skills, with detailed examples of end-to-end product design projects.
  • Expertise in Figma, and proficiency working with (or on) design systems.
  • Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
  • Passion and enthusiasm for problem solving and an aptitude for tackling complex design challenges.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:

  • 90+ team of engineers, product managers and product designers in Berlin
  • Leaders with 8+ years of experience building our promotions engine
  • €1,000 annual learning budget, full LinkedIn Learning access, and free German language courses to boost your skills
  • 30 days of annual leave, plus extra paid days for your birthday and moving day
  • Home office setup budget, a monthly home office allowance
  • Freedom to work from abroad for up to 90 days worldwide!
  • Mental health support with nilo.health and a discounted Urban Sports Club membership
  • 20% company subsidy on your pension contributions
  • BVG public transport ticket and welcome your furry friend in our dog-friendly Berlin office!
