What you will do

Reporting our Senior Manager of Finance Operations, you will step into the pivotal role of Finance Operations Process & Automation Lead. You will lead our FinOps Projects team, acting as the architect of a leaner, more automated financial operation. Your mission is to own the end-to-end Quote-to-Cash process, drive our AI automation strategy, and champion process quality across the business, ensuring our operations are as innovative as our products.

Where you will have impact

• Lead, manage, and mentor the FinOps Projects team, fostering their professional growth and driving project success.
• Own the end-to-end Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) process, leading initiatives to map, redesign, and improve process quality from start to finish.
• Drive the FinOps automation roadmap, identifying opportunities and partnering with technical teams to build and implement AI-driven solutions.
• Act as the voice of operational excellence, influencing upstream commercial decisions to prevent downstream complexity and ensure scalability.
• Lead the integration of billing systems and processes from newly acquired companies, ensuring seamless absorption into Lighthouse operations.
• Develop data-driven business cases and reporting to demonstrate the impact and ROI of automation and process improvement initiatives.
• Champion and maintain high standards for process documentation, ensuring the reliability and scalability of our automated systems.

You'll be leading the FinOps Projects team, a crucial group at the intersection of finance and technology. As part of the wider Finance Operations team, we own the entire Quote-to-Cash lifecycle. Our mission is twofold: we drive major strategic projects like integrating new companies and building out our AI automation, while also ensuring the core business runs smoothly. Who you are

Essential

• Experience in Finance Operations, with deep, hands-on expertise in the full Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) lifecycle.
• Proven experience in people management, with a passion for coaching, professional development, and performance management.
• A demonstrated track record of leading process optimization and automation projects from conception to successful implementation.
• Experience translating business needs into technical requirements and partnering effectively with engineering or automation teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional partners and senior leadership.
• A strategic, root-cause thinker who solves problems upstream rather than just managing downstream symptoms.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with strong prioritization skills.
• An ambitious and proactive mindset, with a strong work ethic and a drive to deliver results in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

We welcome

• Experience in a finance transformation or consulting role, with exposure to systems like Salesforce (CPQ/Billing), NetSuite, Kolleno, or Adyen.
• A background working within a high-growth SaaS or technology company.
• Direct experience with AI-driven automation projects in a finance context.
