What you will do

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who is passionate about problem solving, scalable cloud engineering, automation and scalable programs, data architectures, complex data transformations, and handling large data streams on the fly, and wants to see their work translated into real life applications that impact 100,000’s of hotels worldwide.

Where you will have impact

• Implementing, deploying and maintaining SaaS and microservices architectures.
• Cleaning, analysing and extracting datasets from external sources.
• Guaranteeing data integrity and quality by extending our logging, monitoring and outlier detection systems.
• Deploying, upgrading and monitoring applications in a reproducible and scalable way.
• Experimenting, thinking about, and taking ownership of a piece of our tech stack/infrastructure and finding ways to improve it.
• Providing support to your team members and other teams in the company. We have a very open and flat structure and have a very short feedback loop on both internal and customer questions.
• You will be at the forefront of our AI evolution, helping to embed intelligence into our platform. You’ll not only build AI features for our customers but also champion an AI-first development culture within the engineering team.

About our team

You'll join the Distribution Insight team, a key part of our Enterprise division focused on providing data offerings to the world's largest hotel chains. Our mission is to help these global chains optimize their distribution, monitor their channels, and track performance to maximize revenue without increasing costs. We develop a suite of products and services to achieve this, from monitoring tools that system engineers use to investigate performance, to AI-driven services that automate massive manual workflows for our clients. You will work closely with our Lead DevOps Engineer to manage and improve our processes, helping to reduce manual work and increase automation so the team can scale effectively.

Who you are

• Proven experience writing code, with a primary focus on Python.
• Solid experience with SQL, particularly in an Oracle Database environment.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, like GCP or AWS, and containerization technologies.
• Proficiency with UNIX commands and environments.
• You are a forward-thinking builder who views AI as a core component of modern architecture. You have a proven interest (or experience) in working with LLMs, agentic workflows, or AI-assisted coding tools to ship higher-quality code, faster.
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Fluency in professional English, both written and spoken.

We welcome

• An affinity for big data analytics and processing large-scale data streams.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, specifically GitLab CI.
