
IT Helpdesk Administrator

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Level 2 Helpdesk Administrator to join our rapidly expanding IT department. You will be joining a fast-paced environment and will be responsible for supporting a wide range of systems, network infrastructure, and our internal applications at LetsGetChecked.
You will be expected to have a minimum of 4 years in IT support and will be familiar with a variety of server & desktop operating systems and software, as well as a strong working knowledge of networking, including VPNs. You will be responsible for advanced day-to-day troubleshooting, resolving escalated service desk tickets, assisting in complex IT projects, and ensuring the smooth running of the enterprise. Additional training will also be provided to the successful candidate.
This is a hybrid position with at least 4 days onsite each week.
Responsibilities
- Taking ownership of escalated service desk tickets and driving issues to resolution.
- Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues for a diverse employee base.
- Provide advanced remote and on-site support.
- Manage desktop and server installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure (LANs, WANs, VPNs).
- Conduct User Lifecycle Management (on-boarding, off-boarding, and administration) across cloud-based applications (Google Workspace, Active Directory).
- Contribute to and manage small-to-medium scale IT projects.
- Support and maintain the smooth operation of the enterprise IT environment.
What we are looking for…..
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar Level 2 IT support role.
- Proven knowledge of service desk ticketing, SLAs, and ITIL processes.
- Strong working knowledge of Active Directory, Windows OS, and macOS.
- Expertise with LANs, WANs, and VPNs.
- Expert level Google Workspace skills.
- Strong experience with Jira & Confluence for ticketing and documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Office systems.
- Familiarity with SaaS (Software as a Service) concepts.
- Demonstrable experience with security processes and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
- Knowledge of PowerShell scripting and automation for efficiency gains.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, necessary for effective cross-functional support.
- Proven experience providing remote support.

- Knowledge of cloud-based directory service platforms (e.g., JumpCloud).
- Knowledge of endpoint management/patch management tools (e.g., Automox).
- Knowledge of IT Asset Management (ITAM) procedures.
What we are looking for…..
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience.
- Relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) are a plus.
