Production Kitter - Evening Shift

Production Kitter – Evening shift. 

The Production Kitter is responsible for the creation of all the Production batches. Will assist with the planning regarding the kitting stage of the process and inventory management. 

Responsibilities:

  • Pick consumables while inspecting them to verify conformance, for batch assembly as determined by Production Orders upon request. 
  • Keeping track on inventory within the Kitting Area – raw consumables. Participation in cycle counts of all inventory. 
  • Identify and communicate all shortages/discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy. Notify late work orders, incorrect bills of material, missing prints, missing parts, among other issues. 
  • Maintain the kitting area always in a safe, clean and tidy way after each shift. 
  • Follow procedures for Batch Creation and Inventory Management. 
  • Complete all necessary paperwork on a daily basis, including necessary computer transactions using specific forms and procedures dealing with inventory movement through department. 
  • Follow company safety practices and procedures to provide a safe work environment for all employees. 
  • Perform all other essential duties as directed by the Lead Operator and help in the Production Area as required, instructed or requested. 

What we’re looking for… 

  • The successful candidate must have a track record of success in a Production environment - preferably in medical devices. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Proven leadership and motivational ability. 
  • Familiarity with FDA GMP/QSR; ISO 13485 and medical standards is required. 
  • The candidate must be highly motivated and passionate about meeting production targets, with strong leadership, motivation, oral, interpersonal communication skills, detail-oriented and problem solving skills required.
