We are looking for an innovative Data Science Leader, with deep domain knowledge to lead our Data Science function and support the rapid growth of LetsGetChecked as we continue to scale into the largest healthcare markets in the World.

Position Description:

  • Design and implement applications and solutions in a healthcare environment
  • Assist with short, medium and long-term strategies to identify opportunities and support business growth
  • Collect, analyse and interpret complex healthcare data
  • Identify and uncover patterns with machine learning 
  • Work with clinical experts to advance thinking and bring solutions
  • Research cutting edge application of analytics in the healthcare domain
  • Proven ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced organisation 
  • Proven ability to deliver comprehensive and detailed analytical reports 
  • Strong leadership and management skills 

Requirements:

  • 10+ years in a leadership capacity 
  • Extensive people management experience
  • MSc / PhD in a quantitative discipline 
  • Healthcare experience highly desirable
  • Evidence of applied problem solving 
  • Strategic mindset with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in python and other machine learning tools (e.g. Spark)
  • Knowledge of AWS and cloud technologies (e.g. Glue, S3, lambda, Sagemaker)
  • Experience with Git, DVC & CI/CD
  • Experience with Looker, BI tools
  • Proven multi-tasker with experience handling conflicting priorities
  • Proven ability to handle the researching of inaccurate or conflicting data
  • Good knowledge of Database structures, relational databases and data engineering concepts
  • Good knowledge of algorithm performance/complexity

  • Curious, independent thinker
  • Driving and translating Data Science principles into tangible insights
  • Strong communication and verbal / written skills essential 
  • Excellent project and time management skills
