Senior System Admin (Dublin)

Position Description:
We are seeking a skilled IT Administrator with 4 years of experience to manage and support our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of both Microsoft and Apple operating systems, network management, user support, and experience with various tools such as Jira, Atlassian, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office 365, and more. You will play a critical role in maintaining our network, ensuring smooth operations of VoIP, managing security systems, and supporting remote workers.
Location: Remote with occasional travel to Northern Cross & Adelphi House

Key Responsibilities:
- System Administration:
- Deliver excellent customer service in the enterprise, and an ability to work under pressure
- Manage and maintain Microsoft and Apple operating systems
- Administer and troubleshoot Google Workspace and Microsoft Office 365 environments
- Support user authentication and device management using JumpCloud
- Oversee IT documentation and ensure accurate change management records
- User Support & Onboarding:
- Provide hands-on IT support to employees, including remote workers, ensuring hardware and software issues are resolved
- Onboard and offboard new users, ensuring access to necessary systems and tools like Slack, RingCentral, and Google Workspace
- Network & Security Management:
- Knowledge of subnets, wireless and firewalls
- Manage RingCentral VoIP systems for seamless communication
- Administer Verkada camera and door controller access systems for physical security
- Device Imaging & Management:
- Image, deploy, and maintain devices for both on-site and remote employees, ensuring all equipment is configured correctly
- Manage device inventory and ensure timely hardware upgrades and replacements
- Collaboration Tools:
- Administer and manage Slack, ensuring proper integrations and user management
- Support and configure Atlassian tools including Jira for project tracking and Confluence for documentation
- Documentation & Change Management:
- Maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, network topologies, and IT policies
- Follow ITIL-based change management processes to ensure system stability and minimize downtime
Our Preferred Qualifications:
- 4 years of experience in an IT administrator role or equivalent
- Strong experience with Microsoft Windows and Apple macOS
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office 365
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Atlassian tools
- Knowledge of network infrastructure including subnets, firewalls, and network troubleshooting
- Experience with device imaging and deployment
- Familiarity with JumpCloud Directory, Slack, and RingCentral VoIP systems
- Familiarity with Verkada camera systems and door access control
- Strong communication skills with the ability to support and onboard new users
- Experience supporting remote workers and distributed teams
- Knowledge of IT security best practices
The base salary range for this role is €50.000 - €55.000.
