Senior Manager, Pricing Strategy

Senior Manager, Pricing Strategy
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Pricing Strategy to lead our pricing strategy and operations, ensuring that we achieve our ambitious growth objectives. This role is critical in driving long-term revenue growth while also mitigating risks and providing strategic insights around market trends, competitive pricing and deal structure best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Define Commercial Pricing Strategies by Vertical: Establish pricing models tailored to each commercial vertical’s unique offerings and business models to ensure profitable revenue growth.
  • Support Product/Market Launch Readiness: Collaborate with Product & Finance teams to define pricing standards and strategies for new product, partnership, or market launches.
  • Drive Results-Driven Approach to Pricing: Evaluate pricing strategy effectiveness by regularly analyzing key commercial metrics, market trends, and competitor pricing.
  • Support Continuous Improvement: Drive results through innovative value creation and initiatives. Collaborate with Account Managers on client improvement plans & objectives.
  • Manage Pricing Infrastructure: Implement and manage pricing policies & metrics and work with GTM Operations & Salesforce teams to automate and manage approval workflows.
  • Enable Timely Commercial Decisions: Partner with GTM Enablement to train the Sales & Account Management teams on pricing and deal strategy processes, tools, and best practices.
  • Support Client Segmentation Refinement & Commercial Activation: Participate in cross-functional team to refresh client segments, related product standards, and related pricing.
  • Administer Commercial Compensation: Calculate internal & partner commissions per pre-defined agreements, support questions as they arise, and track collective effectiveness.
  • Provide Ad-hoc Commercial Analytics: Support ad-hoc Commercial initiatives as needed.

What we are looking for…

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pricing strategy or deal desk-related roles, preferably in healthcare, technology, or high-growth industries.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a proven ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
    • Extensive experience in pricing tools and performance analysis.
    • Strong business acumen with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
    • Advanced proficiency in data analysis & business intelligence tools, such as Excel, Salesforce, and Looker.
    • Experience with configure-price-quote process, tools, and implementation a plus.
