Chief of Staff

Job summary: The Chief of Staff will play a critical role in supporting the CEO and the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) in shaping and executing Leapwork’s strategy. This position will be responsible for ensuring cross-functional alignment, driving strategic initiatives, and enabling effective decision-making across the organization. You will act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, working closely with all ELT members to coordinate efforts that push Leapwork towards its long-term goals. 

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Strategic planning & execution: 

  • Partner with the CEO and ELT to design and execute the long-term strategy. 
  • Assist in setting quarterly and annual objectives, ensuring they are aligned with Leapwork’s overarching goals. 
  • Coordinate strategic planning sessions, including ELT meetings and offsites, and translate key decisions into actionable plans. 

2. CEO Advisory: 

  • Serve as a key advisor to the CEO, offering insights and perspectives on key business decisions. 
  • Act as a sounding board for new ideas, initiatives, and approaches to strategic opportunities. 
  • Collaborate with Leapwork leadership on preparing for Board meetings.  

3. Cross-functional leadership: 

  • Design and manage strategic cross-functional initiatives such as launching new products or go-to-market offerings. 
  • Facilitate alignment across departments to ensure smooth execution of strategic projects and corporate objectives. 
  • Act as a liaison between the CEO and the broader organization, ensuring clear communication and dissemination of key information. 
  • Design and implement processes to ensure knowledge sharing between departments, fostering organizational alignment. 

4. Operational excellence: 

  • Track progress on the strategy and key initiatives, ensuring accountability and timely delivery of results. 
  • Support the creation of dashboards, reports, and insights to help the CEO and ELT stay informed and make data-driven decisions. 
  • Prepare, facilitate, and follow up on meetings, including ELT meetings, senior leadership meetings, and offsites. 

Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Proven experience in a fast-paced dynamic environment from management consulting, strategy functions or other Chief of Staff roles. 
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen ability to manage multiple priorities and complex projects. 
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to distill and disseminate information across all levels of the organization. 
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of working with C-suite executives and managing cross-functional initiatives. 
  • Experience working in SaaS, technology, or a related industry is a plus. 
  • Willingness to be based in Boston and travel as necessary to support company initiatives.
