Finance Manager
Koa Health is a fast-growing company focused on delivering innovative digital mental health solutions to healthcare providers. After 4 years of intense research and product development on breakthrough digital mental health solutions; we launched as Koa Health in October 2020. To start the new year we are continuing to grow our global team and are currently looking for an exceptional Finance Manager role to join us.
Your new role
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you’ll be supporting the whole business with a focus on the accounts payable function and month-end whilst ensuring all of our financial reporting is as accurate and timely as possible for both internal and external stakeholders.
In this role, you will be responsible for
- Month End Reporting: Preparation of month end journals, schedules and reconciliations such as accruals, prepayments, deferred revenue, depreciation and payroll.
- Managing Intercompany Reconciliations between Koa Health and its subsidiaries.
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations in the Koa Health Group.
- Preparation of Actual vs Budget reporting for review with senior leadership team.
- Supporting our Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Co-ordinators where necessary.
- Working closely with our external accountants on Statutory Audit.
- Supporting the Head of Finance with various ongoing projects and process improvement.
What we would like to see (Essential)
- ACCA/CIMA Finalist or Newly Qualified.
- Familiarity with Netsuite and FinTech Stack e.g. Soldo.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel Skills.
- Naturally inquisitive and have a desire to improve things, in other words, you don’t require an invitation to explore and challenge the status quo.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- A willingness to get hands on.
Nice to have
- Experience working within a B2B SaaS environment.
- Able to communicate with key stakeholders, both internal and external, and to communicate and work collaboratively with non-finance colleagues and with employees at all levels.
- Start Up/Scale Up experience.
