Role Purpose As a CSA Quantity Surveyor at Kirby Group Engineering, you will play a key role in managing costs and ensuring commercial success on data centre projects. You will work closely with project teams to deliver accurate cost control, value engineering, and contractual compliance, supporting Kirby’s commitment to excellence and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, monitor, and manage project budgets and cost plans for CSA packages.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare bills of quantities.
- Manage subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and contract administration.
- Track and report on project costs, variations, and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and Kirby standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to optimize value and mitigate risk.
- Support monthly valuations, progress claims, and final account settlements.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in CSA Quantity Surveying, preferably in Data Center or similar sectors.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and cost management principles.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., Excel, Cost Management tools).
