- Lead all commercial activities throughout the project lifecycle from tender evaluation through to final account settlement.
- Manage project revenue, profitability, cash flow forecasting and monthly commercial reporting.
- Provide strategic commercial leadership and support business objectives through effective commercial management.
- Review, negotiate and manage client contracts, ensuring risks and liabilities are fully understood and appropriately managed.
- Lead commercial negotiations with clients, subcontractors and key project stakeholders.
- Identify, assess and mitigate commercial, contractual and financial risks.
- Oversee profit plans, forecasts and project financial performance, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
- Support project teams with commercial guidance and contractual interpretation.
- Manage and develop Quantity Surveyors and commercial team members across the project.
- Ensure subcontract agreements, purchase orders, letters of intent and commercial documentation are correctly implemented.
- Drive the resolution of commercial issues, claims and final account negotiations.
- Audit project commercial processes and challenge performance to maximise project outcomes.
- Work closely with engineering, planning, finance and operations teams to strengthen commercial awareness across the project.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying future business opportunities.
- Lead lessons learned initiatives to support continuous improvement across the business.
- Champion best practice, process improvement and commercial excellence.
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience in a Commercial Manager or Senior Commercial role within construction, engineering, MEP or data centre environments.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, commercial governance and risk management.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale, complex projects from pre-construction through to completion.
- Excellent commercial negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing project profitability and cash flow.
- Experience leading and developing commercial teams.
- Strong communication, leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Experience within data centres, mission critical facilities or major engineering projects is highly desirable.
- Willingness to work on-site in Sweden.
