About Role
We're looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist who will lead hiring efforts for our software engineering teams - managing end-to-end recruitment, from early-career engineers to senior technical leaders.
Responsibilities
- Partner with engineering and functional leaders to define workforce plans and hiring strategies for firmware and embedded roles.
- Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies to attract top embedded software, hardware, and systems talent.
- Translate hiring needs into clear, compelling job descriptions that reflect Kimbal's technical depth and innovation culture.
- Build and manage strong talent pipelines through proactive mapping, networking, and direct sourcing.
- Drive full-cycle recruitment - from outreach and screening to coordination, feedback management, and offer closure.
- Maintain long-term relationships with high-potential candidates for future roles.
- Continuously refine recruitment processes to enhance speed, quality, and candidate experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on employer branding initiatives to strengthen Kimbal's visibility in the firmware, embedded, and energy-tech ecosystems.
- Manage and onboard recruitment partners specializing in hardware and embedded systems talent.
- Track, measure, and analyze recruitment metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Preferred Background & Experience
- 6-10 years of experience in technology recruitment, with a strong focus on software engineering.
- Proven ability to hire for diverse engineering profiles - including backend, frontend, devops and data engineering.
- Deep understanding of the talent landscape across India.
- Strong stakeholder management and consultative partnership with engineering leaders.
- Passion for building technical teams that contribute to the clean energy and smart grid revolution.
