Business Development Manager - Outside Sales

Keyline Industries is a leading manufacturer of keys, key cutting machines and transponders. In addition, Keyline Industries is a unique manufacturer of Industrial automated machines for the security industry and home & building automation – through the brands ACS and Allmatic.

POSITION TITLE: Business Development Manager - Outside Sales

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: Support the growth of Keyline USA business through:

- Developing new clients (new business development)

- Management and follow-up of existing clients to maximise sales and cross-selling

- Representing the Keyline brand in the US territory with visits, demos and sales activities

 

LOCALISATION:

- Based in the US (preferably Cleveland or surrounding area)

- Willingness to travel frequently (70-80% of the time) within the US

 

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:

- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the US territory

- Visit active, dormant and potential customers for demos, technical sales support and relationship development

- Liaise with HQ and US team for alignment on commercial strategies, pricing and promotions

- Maintain and update CRM with contacts, offers and pipeline

- Attend trade shows and industry events in the US

- Gather market feedback and competitor information

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

- Previous experience (min 3-5 years) in Outside Sales roles in the USA (preferably in industrial, mechanical or electronics)

- Knowledge of the US B2B market and distribution dynamics

- Results and customer orientation

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Willingness to travel frequently

- Native American speaker

 

DESIRABLE PLUSES:

- Experience in the automotive / security / mechanical / electronics sector

- Knowledge of CRM (e.g. Salesforce)

- Ability to conduct product demos

 

SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED:

Proactivity and entrepreneurial spirit

- Autonomy in territory management and visit planning

- Problem-solving

- Teamworking and ability to coordinate with HQ Italy
