
Senior Business Development Manager - CCaaS
Please note: this is a hybrid working role which will require to attend an office in Richmond (TW9), Occasional Client Visit and Home working.

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced sales professional, with a demonstrable success record within a similar technical solution sales role selling CCaaS, CX or AI led solutions to the mid and enterprise market.
The Senior Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new logo opportunities for AI‑driven Contact Centre as a Service (CCaaS) platforms, with a primary focus on solutions such as Genesys Cloud.
You will engage with mid‑market and enterprise organisations to help them modernise customer engagement using cloud, AI, and data‑driven contact centre technologies. This role requires strong consultative selling skills, experience navigating complex buying groups, and the ability to articulate the value of AI‑enabled customer experience transformation.
You Part to Play
New Business Development
- Identify, prospect, and qualify new sales opportunities within target industries and accounts
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of new logo opportunities aligned to sales targets
- Create and execute account penetration strategies for mid‑market and enterprise customers
Consultative Sales & Solution Selling
- Position AI‑driven CCaaS solutions (e.g. Genesys Cloud) addressing customer business outcomes such as CX improvement, cost optimisation, workforce efficiency, and digital transformation
- Run discovery sessions to understand customer challenges and present tailored solutions in collaboration with Kerv pre‑sales, solution architects and product teams
Deal Management
- Own the end‑to‑end sales cycle from initial engagement through to contract close
- Develop compelling business cases, proposals, and ROI justifications include clear business outcomes for customers
- Negotiate commercial terms and manage governance, procurement, and legal processes alongside Kerv teams
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders within prospects and customers
- Collaborate closely with Kerv marketing, pre‑sales, professional services, and product teams to best position Kerv
Market & Product Awareness
- Maintain strong knowledge of the CCaaS market, competitors, and emerging AI trends
- Demonstrate thought leadership around cloud migration, AI automation, and customer experience strategy
Sales Targets
- Consistently achieve and exceed revenue and maintain targets
All about You
Essential
- Proven experience in new business sales within enterprise or mid‑market technology
- Strong background selling complex SaaS or cloud solutions
- Experience selling CCaaS, UCaaS, CRM, CX, or AI‑led platforms
- Track record of consistently achieving or exceeding new business sales targets
- Excellent discovery, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to communicate complex technical and AI concepts in clear business language
- Ability to articulate complex solutions and deliver compelling business cases to senior stakeholders
Desirable
- Experience selling Genesys Cloud or a competitive CCaaS product
