Business Development Lead (APAC)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Lead for the APAC region to drive Total Value Locked (TVL) growth. This role is crucial for our global expansion, focusing on engaging with key customer segments including Ultra-High-Net-Worth Individuals (UHNIs), Venture Capital firms, Crypto Hedge Funds, and Family Offices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and nurturing strategic relationships, identifying and closing high-impact partnerships, and executing a robust go-to-market strategy to significantly increase our protocol's TVL and market presence across Asia-Pacific.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent Kernel and portfolio products to core customer groups - UHNIs, Family Offices, VCs and Hedge Funds for APAC region
  • Structure customized product solutions for optimizing sales conversions.
  • Carry the revenue and TVL target for the APAC region.
  • Work closely with the SDR team to improve lead generation by leveraging your network.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners and funds.
  • Represent Kernel at conferences, cultivate relationships that will drive growth for the organization.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to inform strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • 4-8 years of proven experience in business development, with at least 3+ years within the crypto industry.
  • Deep understanding of both traditional finance and decentralized finance concepts
  • Strong network within the institutional financial ecosystem, with a track record of successfully attracting capital and forging strategic partnerships.
