The Role 

We are looking for a full-time Sports Trader to join our successful team based in North West Sydney.  

You will be responsible for assisting in the trading of local sporting codes. The role has a particular focus on sports such as Australian Rules, Cricket, Rugby League & Rugby Union. A robust knowledge of either AFL or NRL in conjunction with Cricket will be considered a requirement for all applicants. 

The successful applicants will receive comprehensive training on our products and services. They will be required to trade both pre match, where you will work together with our experienced team of traders, as well as live betting markets, where it is essential that quick and accurate decisions are being made.  

This role would suit you if you're interested in working for a global organisation but within a small team of Australian Sport experts. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. 

  Responsibilities: 

• Compile odds for both pre-match and in-play Australian sports events 
• Live trading of various sport events 
• Analysing and monitoring risk on different markets  
• Communicate effectively with the different departments within Kambi.

Requirements – Must have: 

• Strong knowledge of either AFL or NRL in addition to cricket 
• A university degree 
• Are able to work accurately with attention to detail. 
• Must have flexible availability as you will be required to regularly work on weekends and occasional on evenings. 

Desirable: 

• Strong mathematical background 
• Experience working within the sports betting industry 
• An understanding of wagering, pre-match and in-running betting markets 
• Interest in other sports including American Football, Baseball, Basketball, Golf & Soccer
