Shape Games (part of the Kambi Group) is looking for an experienced Product Owner to join our growing native sportsbook team in Copenhagen.

You’ll be part of a talented and collaborative group of engineers and product specialists building world-class sportsbook betting apps used by millions of players around the globe!

Product Owner – Mobile Apps.

About the Role

Shape Games is seeking a talented and motivated Product Owner to join our cross-functional mobile app development team. In this role, you will manage the backlog and planning of our native iOS and Android Sports Betting Apps, delivered as SDKs to a wide range of B2B operators worldwide. You will play a key role in shaping our platform product, working in a fast-paced, complex regulatory environment, and contributing to a highly data-driven product development process.

We operate in Sprints and Increments based on SCRUM methodologies, but there’s plenty of room for you to innovate and optimize ways of working to fit your team’s needs.

You should be technically literate, comfortable working with both Android and iOS requirements, and either have prior knowledge of sports betting or a strong curiosity to become an expert.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the backlog of our mobile sports betting apps, driving refinement with the development team.
• Document internal and external product information clearly and thoroughly.
• Champion the vision, strategy, and roadmap for your products.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, collaborators, and cross-functional teams.
• Support the journey toward a highly data-driven product development approach.
• Represent the team, product, and roadmap in front of internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Gather, elaborate, and prioritize ideas for continuous product improvement.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role, ideally with a UX focus and mobile applications.
• Ability to work independently and proactively improve yourself and ways of working.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience collaborating across cross-functional teams.
• Strong prioritization and roadmap planning skills, with the ability to focus on initiatives that drive the most impact for the product.
• Comfortable navigating complex projects involving distributed teams and multiple stakeholders.

  Preferred: 

• Experience or passion for data-driven product development processes. 
• Experience or enthusiasm for sports betting products. 
• Potential and suitability to grow into a broader Product Management role in the future. 
• Familiarity with relevant software and standards, and experience with cloud computing in any public cloud is desirable. 
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to drive product innovation. 
• Adaptability, organizational skills, and a continuous learning mindset
