The role

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong knowledge of cricket as well as an interest in other sports. The role will involve pricing and trading both pre-match and in-play cricket, knowledge transfer, and feedback into the models and trading tools. While the successful candidate will mainly trade cricket they will also be expected to trade other sports at times.

The candidate will work from our London office, working together with other traders in the cricket team.

You will also liaise with different departments at Kambi to deliver a market leading product to our clients. For example, the Risk team and the Product and Trading Development teams within pre match and live.

You’ll be a great fit for the role, if you:

Requirements

Must have:

• A strong knowledge and passion for cricket
• Strong mathematical background
• Fluency in English; any additional foreign language is a plus
• The candidate must be flexible as you will be required to work shifts often on weekends and some evenings, which may include anti-social hours. The trader’s schedule will be generally based around the global cricket calendar.

Desirable:

• A university degree, preferably in an analytical field such as mathematics or statistics
• Can demonstrate a keen aptitude for sports betting, in either a personal or professional environment
• Proficiency in Excel
• Good interpersonal skills
• Interest and knowledge of other sports (e.g. Rugby)
