- Draft legal and regulatory analyses and risk assessments for Kambi’s product range.
- Facilitate compliance with applicable laws and regulations and prepare regulatory and compliance documents.
- Analyse licensing requirements and prepare thorough licensing requests for submission to the licensing team.
- Develop and maintain relationships with national and international regulatory authorities.
- Produce clear and actionable interpretations of regulatory requirements for business units.
- Lead regulatory projects from inception through implementation, including compliance initiatives across a broad range of regulatory matters. Some examples may include sports ethics, responsible gaming, anti-money-laundering, transparency obligations and cyber resilience.
- Produce and review regular reporting submitted to or received from gaming authorities.
- Manage relationships with external law firms, ensuring adherence to agreed fee estimates and service levels.
- Provide legal training to internal stakeholders and coach junior members of the Legal team.
You’ll be a great fit for the role, if you:
- UK qualified solicitor (approximately 0-2 years PQE), although we welcome applications from foreign-qualified lawyers with relevant experience.
- Experience engaging directly with regulatory authorities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High levels of initiative, pragmatism, and commercial awareness.
- Curiosity and a proactive approach to innovation and process improvement.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Ability to inspire confidence and build trust with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Thrive in a friendly and high-paced work environment.
- Are curious and take initiative to explore new ways of working.
- Appreciate balancing commercial and legal perspectives.
- Are passionate, innovative, and resourceful.
- Value a flat structure where everyone’s voice is heard.
- Hold yourself and others to high standards of excellence.
