Hybrid model: 2 days per week in the office
The role
The Talent Acquisition (TA) Specialist will act as the primary recruitment point of contact for our Bucharest office. You’ll work closely with the hiring managers across all departments (engineering, trading, analytics, support functions, etc.) to ensure recruitment pipelines align with business goals. You’ll lead hiring strategy, employer branding efforts, recruitment marketing campaigns, job fairs, events, and system/process optimisation – playing a key role in Kambi’s ambitious local growth plans.
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist your day-to-day work will look like:
- Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for Bucharest roles across multiple business areas. This includes sourcing, screening, scheduling, interview support, feedback gathering, offer management, and onboarding handover.
- Hiring Manager Support: Act as a strategic advisor to hiring managers – coaching them on market trends, job specs, interview best practices, and hiring decisions.
- Employer Branding: Lead local employer branding initiatives including content creation, careers events, university partnerships, and social media promotion.
- Candidate Experience: Ensure an exceptional and consistent candidate experience that reflects Kambi’s culture and values.
- Sourcing & Tools: Utilize Greenhouse ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and other platforms effectively. Support ongoing optimisation of recruitment tools and systems.
- Events & Job Fairs: Represent Kambi at local job fairs, tech meetups, and internal/external hiring events. Help plan and host branded experiences for candidates and the wider talent community.
- Talent Pool Development: Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for future hiring needs, with a focus on technical and commercial talent.
- Reporting & Metrics: Track recruitment data, provide insights, and support TA reporting and budgeting efforts.
- Provide support to People Operations with onboarding tasks, including document collection, system updates, and induction coordination during peak periods.
- Assist with administrative HR processes such as contract preparation, employee record maintenance, and data entry when needed.
- Act as a point of contact for new hires during onboarding, ensuring a smooth and well-communicated experience.
- Collaborate with the wider People team to ensure timely and accurate completion of pre-employment checks and system setup.
- Step in to support ad hoc administrative and operational HR tasks as required to maintain a high level of service across the employee lifecycle.
You’ll be a great fit for the role, if you:
- Proven experience in recruitment, ideally in-house or RPO, with a focus on technical or high-growth hiring.
- Knowledge of the Romanian labour market and local talent trends.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills – ability to influence hiring outcomes.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse preferred).
- Creative mindset with a passion for employer branding and recruitment marketing.
- Fluent in English and Romanian.
Desirable Qualities
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
- Experience organising or attending job fairs or tech events.
- Interest in the sports betting or gaming industry.
- Passion for working across functions and cultures to deliver high-impact results.
