QA Engineer

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our team and help ensure the quality and reliability of our fintech product. In this role, you will work in a fast-paced, international environment, collaborating closely with developers, leads, and participating in incident investigations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks while effectively communicating with the team. You will face interesting and multi-level challenges, with potential opportunities to get involved in automation, and contribute to the overall success of the product. Responsibilities

  • Analyze technical documentation and requirements
  • Collaborate with the support team on incident resolution, bug investigation, and inter-team communication
  • Perform manual testing of web and/or mobile applications
  • Test integrations with external applications and plugins
  • Conduct API testing
  • Create and maintain test documentation (test plans, test cases, checklists, reports)
  • Participate in planning activities for development and testing
  • Take part in regular team meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
  • Strong understanding of software testing processes, SDLC, and methodologies (Agile/Scrum)
  • Experience in different types of testing: web, regression, smoke, load, stress, and performance
  • Experience in mobile application testing (Android Studio, Xcode) - priority for mobile team, optional for specific teams
  • Solid practical experience in API testing (Postman, Insomnia or similar tools)
  • Hands-on experience with test management systems (e.g., TestRail or analogs) and creating associated test documentation such as test cases, checklists, test plans, and test reports
  • Practical experience with databases, including writing and executing SQL queries
  • Experience with API documentation and testing tools (Swagger, BrowserStack)
  • Experience with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira)
  • Proficiency in log analysis and monitoring tools (Graylog, Grafana)
  • Good knowledge of browser Developer Tools for troubleshooting
  • Experience in investigating user issues, including participation in on-call rotations (once per quarter)
  • Intermediate level of English proficiency

Will be a plus

  • Experience with Charles, Fiddler, and Proxyman
  • Experience in creating or working with test strategies
  • Experience in writing automated tests
  • Experience working on product teams, especially in fintech
