Head of HR

Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement HR strategies that align with the company's long-term business objectives, ensuring support for overall growth and success
- Contribute to improvements and implementing of comprehensive Talent Acquisition strategies to support team scaling effectively in alignment with business demands
- Manage competitive compensation and benefits packages that align with market standards and meet the diverse needs of employees
- Oversee all HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding ensuring these processes are efficient and aligned with the best practices to enhance the overall employee experience
- Cultivate a positive work culture that enhances employee satisfaction, encourages continuous professional development, and promotes high retention rates
- Ensure that all HR practices comply with local labour laws and align with internal company policies, promoting a fair and equitable workplace
- Develop and manage the HR budget, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently to support HR initiatives and company goals
- Foster a constructive and cooperative employee relations environment by addressing employee concerns in a timely and effective manner
- Lead and mentor the HR team, promoting professional development and collaboration to achieve goals
Requirements
- Proven track record in developing and executing HR strategies aligned with the company’s business goals
- Comprehensive understanding of Malaysian Labour Law and regulations, ensuring compliance and promoting fair employment practices
- Exceptional leadership abilities, with a focus on fostering a collaborative, high-performing HR team that drives company's success
- Solid background in designing, optimising, and implementing HR processes and policies that enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the company
- Comprehensive understanding of HR standards, industry best practices, and compliance requirements
- Hands-on experience with HRM platforms
- Expertise in a full employee lifecycle to improve the overall employee experience
- Proven expertise in Compensation & Benefits administration, including the design and implementation of competitive packages that attract and retain talents
- Expertise in budgeting, including planning, managing, and analysing HR budgets effectively to support strategic initiatives
- Excellent level of English and Malaysian for professional communication
