HR BP (Malaysia)
Responsibilities
- Oversee payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing, generating reports, and communicating effectively with employees
- Troubleshoot payroll issues and contribute to the development of an in-house payroll system
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring proper documentation, equipment allocation, and smooth integration for new hires
- Facilitate orientation programs and perform administrative tasks such as setting up new hires in systems and organizing their schedules
- Handle employee registration processes, including expatriate documentation and employment agreements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Provide expert guidance on interactions with EPF, SOCSO, and EIS
- Manage the offboarding process, ensuring full compliance with labor laws and overseeing all exit procedures, including asset retrieval
- Administer compensation and benefits, processing claims, collaborating with the accounting team, and maintaining compliance with regulations
Requirements
- At least 3 years of HR experience, ideally within a product or technology-driven environment
- Proven expertise in payroll processing, onboarding, and managing the full employee lifecycle
- Strong knowledge of HR compliance and labor regulations, particularly in Malaysia
- Demonstrated experience handling HR administrative tasks, including compensation and benefits management
- Exceptional organizational skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to resolving HR issues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
- Upper-Intermediate proficiency in English
