Junior KAM | Electronics - Jumia (Full Time)

Morocco

At Jumia, mobility is at the heart of our people development approach. This job board helps us establish more transparency in available opportunities in the company to promote mobility.

You need to follow simple guidelines:

  • Before applying, make sure you discuss the opportunity with your direct manager and that both of you agree that this is positive for your development (written approval from your direct manager will be required).
  • Apply with your Jumia e-mail.

As a Key Account Manager at Jumia, you will be at the heart of our commercial engine — owning a portfolio of strategic vendors and driving their success on Africa's leading e-commerce platform. You will be the trusted partner that brands rely on, building powerful joint business plans and ensuring every commercial lever — assortment, pricing, stock, content, and visibility — is firing on all cylinders. With a direct impact on category performance and Jumia's overall commercial growth, this is a role for someone who is ambitious, relationship-driven, and hungry to make their mark in one of the most exciting and dynamic markets in the world.

What you will be doing

  • Drive growth at scale. Develop and execute bold strategic plans that accelerate sales and maximize revenue across your portfolio.
  • Shape our assortment. Lead the acquisition of high-potential brands and major distributors, enriching our offering and reinforcing Jumia's category leadership.
  • Unlock new revenue streams. Identify and leverage monetization opportunities by promoting Jumia's advertising and visibility services to brands and partners.
  • Craft winning campaigns. Collaborate with marketing and commercial planning teams to design tailored promotional strategies that resonate with your accounts and the market.
  • Turn data into action. Analyze sales performance and market insights to uncover growth opportunities and stay one step ahead.
  • Own your metrics. Monitor and report on key account performance — from sales and inventory to campaign results and customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate with impact. Secure win-win agreements and long-term partnerships that deliver mutual profitability and sustainable collaboration.
  • Stay ahead of the curve. Track market trends, competitor moves, and shifting customer preferences to sharpen your strategy.
  • Make things happen. Partner closely with internal teams — merchandising, operations, logistics — to ensure flawless execution and an exceptional customer experience.

What we are looking for

  • Market expertise. At least 2 years of experience in the category or retail industry, with a sharp understanding of local market dynamics, key players, and consumer behaviour.
  • Category knowledge. Deep familiarity with your market's category ecosystem — from major brands and distributors to emerging trends shaping the industry.
  • Top-tier academic background. Graduate of a leading business or engineering school (Top 5 in your country or an internationally recognized equivalent).
  • Commercial firepower. Proven track record of delivering strong business results, with the confidence and skill to negotiate at the highest levels.
  • Analytical mindset. Ability to cut through complex data, extract meaningful insights, and translate them into clear, actionable strategies.
  • Communication excellence. Fluent in both English and French, with outstanding written and verbal skills that inspire confidence in every interaction.
  • Tech-savvy. Proficient in MS Office and Google Workspace, and comfortable navigating CRM tools, digital dashboards, and performance monitoring platforms.
  • Natural influencer. Exceptional interpersonal skills — you know how to build trust, align stakeholders, and bring people together around a shared goal.
  • Built for intensity. You thrive under pressure, embrace ambiguity, and perform at your best in a fast-paced, competitive, results-driven environment.

We aim to provide a comprehensive assessment while respecting your time and investment in the process. Having said that, we would also like to give you full visibility into the recruitment process, which will consist of two main stages:

  1. HR Meeting
  2. Business Meeting #1 with your potential manager

The deadline for submitting your application is March 13th, 2026. Please make sure you comply with this; otherwise, you risk your application not being considered.
