Key Account Manager | Fashion - Jumia (Full Time)

As an Account Manager you will support the growth of Jumia by managing a portfolio of mid-sized vendors. Your primary focus will be on delivering the key commercial pillars: stock availability, assortment expansion, competitive pricing, and high-quality content. You will work closely with the category and operations teams to ensure your accounts perform and grow within the Jumia platform.

What you will be doing

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of vendors on the Jumia platform.
  • Execute flawlessly on the four commercial pillars:
    • Stock: Ensure availability and minimize out-of-stock through regular checks and coordination with vendors.
    • Assortment: Identify and upload missing products to ensure relevant and competitive offering.
    • Price: Monitor pricing to ensure competitiveness in the market.
    • Content: Review and improve product content (titles, images, descriptions, filters).
  • Ensure timely execution of vendor campaigns, promotions, and onsite visibility.
  • Build regular performance reports and communicate action plans with vendors..
  • Support vendors in using the Jumia Vendor Center and tools to improve performance.
  • Coordinate with operations, content, and pricing teams to troubleshoot and optimize day-to-day execution.
  • Track and report on key KPIs: number of live SKUs, availability rate, price index, and content quality score.
  • Promote and sell Sponsored Products and other advertising solutions to vendors in your portfolio to help them increase visibility and sales on the platform
  • Learn and adopt best practices from senior team members, actively participating in team reviews and trainings.

What we are looking for

  • 3 years of experience in sales, retail, account management, or e-commerce.
  • Strong motivation to grow in commercial roles and learn account management skills.
  • Graduate of a business or engineering school (or equivalent).
  • Passion for the category and strong awareness of market trends and consumer needs.
  • Excellent attention to detail, especially in managing data and content.
  • Analytical mindset: comfortable with Excel and dashboards to track performance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both in French and English.
  • Self-driven, well-organized, and eager to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills: able to build trust, rally teams, and drive alignment internally and externally.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven and highly competitive environment.
