What you will be doing

  • Build strategic partnerships with C-level executives from Africa's premier home brands and international lifestyle companies.
  • Serve as Jumia's home category ambassador, representing our platform at executive-level industry forums.
  • Develop breakthrough strategies that maximize revenue across furniture, appliances, décor, and home improvement categories.
  • Lead high-value negotiations that secure partnerships worth millions, expanding market reach across Africa.
  • Create innovative promotional campaigns that redefine home shopping experiences for African consumers.
  • Transform market data and consumer insights into winning strategies that outpace competitors.
  • Coordinate seamless operations across teams to deliver exceptional experiences for premium home brands.
  • Pioneer new approaches to home commerce that establish Jumia as Africa's lifestyle destination.
  • Maintain deep market intelligence to anticipate home trends and capitalize on emerging lifestyle opportunities.
  • Deliver premium client experiences that strengthen long-term strategic partnerships with key home brands.

What we are looking for

  • Industry Expertise: 3+ years of proven success in the Home industry (furniture, appliances, décor, home improvement).
  • Market Intelligence: Comprehensive understanding of African home market dynamics and key industry players.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with a proven track record of driving category growth.
  • Advanced expertise in the MS Office Suite and Google Workspace tools.
  • Experience with CRM platforms and demonstrated success in high-level account management.
  • Proven ability to close complex deals and secure strategic home brand partnerships.
  • Natural leadership qualities with ability to influence at C-suite level.
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments while managing multiple high-value partnerships.
  • Forward-thinking approach to solving complex home commerce challenges.
  • Consistent track record of exceeding targets and delivering exceptional business outcomes.
  • Fluent in English and French with exceptional relationship-building abilities.
