Facilities Manager - Full Time

What you will be doing:
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the facilities department, including maintenance, repairs, inspections, and general upkeep of company facilities.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as light plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting, and landscaping, to ensure the safety, functionality, and cleanliness of facilities.
- Assist in coordinating and overseeing facility maintenance and repair projects, including scheduling contractors, obtaining quotes, and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion and compliance with specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections of company facilities to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and opportunities for improvement, and report findings to the Facilities Manager or designated supervisor.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels of supplies, equipment, and materials used in facility maintenance and operations, and reorder items as needed to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Respond promptly to facility-related service requests, inquiries, and emergencies, and take appropriate action to address issues and minimize disruptions to operations.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records and documentation of facility maintenance activities, work orders, inspections, and compliance documentation, using appropriate systems and tools.
- Assist in implementing and enforcing facility policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Operations, Safety, and Security, to support facility-related initiatives and ensure alignment with overall company objectives.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Facilities Manager or designated supervisor.
What we are looking for:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in facilities management, building maintenance, or a related field is a plus.
- years of experience in facilities maintenance, building operations, or a related field, with demonstrated knowledge of basic maintenance tasks and procedures.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with tools and equipment used in facility maintenance and repair work.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other building systems and components.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities as needed.
