Key Account Manager - Jumia Global - Jumia (Full Time)

What you will be doing:

  • Taking an active role in the execution of Jumia Global’s Commercial strategy.
  • Utilizing data to get insights on what categories and products should be pushed with an eye on trends and seasonality
  • Building analysis to ensure smart reporting on the performance across all JG categories leading to action-oriented recommendations including:
    ○ Building stock forecasts
    ○ Building detailed monthly projections and allocations at category level.
  • Monitoring daily performance to achieve present targets and objectives.
  • Owning the merchandising for Jumia Global from A-Z, with a strong eye for details - you decide what your customers see
  • Working with the China team to ensure the right products are sent to Kenya and that we have strong pricing
  • Driving the optimization of JG Conversion Rate and key onsite KPIs 
  • Understanding the market, vendors, and customers to bring valuable insights and convictions to support your data driven commercial recommendations.
  •  Working seamlessly with all departments (Commercial, Marketing, Onsite, Operations, Crossborder), enabling decision making, problem solving and ensuring laser focus
  • Prepare and present detailed performance reports to management, highlighting key metrics, achievements, and improvement areas.

  • Enjoying data crunching and at ease with large data sets and multiple sources of info
  • Enjoying working with multi-stakeholders
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google tools
  • Familiar with relationship management tools
  • Strong commercial & analytical skills
  • Great capacity to handle high stake negotiations
  • Strong inter-personal skills: Convince the people and your team that you are making the right decisions  
  • Great ability to work in a fast paced and competitive environment
  • Flawless English communication
