As a Country CEO you will be responsible for leading the company to success and have direct oversight of all ecommerce operations in your Country. You will be in charge of ensuring great execution of customer and vendor experience processes, participating in their refinement through the collection of detailed customer/ vendor feedback and leading country related specific projects to reach those objectives.
What you will be doing:
- Develop and steer the execution of the long- term business plan for your country, with a view for accelerated performance, growth and operational efficiency across our core verticals. Work closely with your teams to ensure flawless execution.
- Grow and elevate brand equity and our value proposition through unparalleled end to end customer experience and embedding top-notch, relevant marketing strategies across the country
- Fully own the Country P&L with a detailed focus on financial performance and long-term risk management
- Develop strategic development plans to drive the growth of emerging verticals
- Maintain strong relations and partnerships with the wider ecosystem: brands, vendors, logistics partners and regulatory bodies
- Lead and coach the next generation of leaders to inculcate the next phase of a high-performance culture that drives scale, impact and opportunity across Jumia on your perimeter
What we are looking for:
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of driving team performance and achieving results in challenging environments.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans that align with company goals and drive operational efficiency.
- Experience in enhancing customer experience and brand value through innovative and strategic initiatives.
- Financial literacy with an understanding of P&L management and risk assessment.
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors and partners.
- Commitment to developing talent and fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
