Performance Associate - Jumia (Full Time)

What you will be doing:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to warehouse operations, including productivity metrics, inventory accuracy, order accuracy, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Generate and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to track and monitor performance metrics, identify trends, and communicate insights to management and stakeholders.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and investigate performance issues, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify underlying causes and develop corrective actions and improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team leads to implement performance improvement initiatives, monitor progress, and drive continuous improvement in warehouse operations.
  • Assist in developing and implementing training programs and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency, quality, and safety in warehouse operations.
  • Participate in regular performance review meetings with warehouse management and stakeholders to review performance metrics, discuss challenges, and develop action plans to address issues.
  • Provide support and guidance to warehouse operators and team members, assisting with training, troubleshooting, and problem-solving to ensure performance targets are met.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging trends, and technological advancements in warehouse management and performance optimization.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and special projects as assigned by the Performance Manager or designated supervisor.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  •  years of experience in performance analysis, data analysis, or a related field, preferably in a warehouse or supply chain environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Proficiency in using data analysis tools and software, such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI, to manipulate and visualize data for reporting and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work variable shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed to support operational needs.
