
Last Mile Operator - PUS - Jumia (Full Time)

The last mile operator will oversee activities, operations, and maintenance of the Pick-Up Stations.
What you will be doing
- Oversee day-to-day operations of Jumia Pick-Up stations.
- Customer reception and experience management
- Receipt of parcels to deliver
- Coordinate process of delivery of parcels to customers
- Oversee proper cancellation of certain orders
- Ensure the creation of customer returns
- The dispatch of cancellations and customer returns (delivery of parcels to the carrier)
- Facilitate and coordinate collection of cash equivalent to the number of parcels delivered
- Ensure the daily delivery of the cash collected to the banks / collection agents
- Instruct PUS supervisors on the placing orders on behalf of customers
- Other tasks related to the life of the station
What we are looking for
- A good bachelor’s or relevant degree
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Email, Internet etc.
- Proficient in Google Office Suite – Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Gmail, etc.
- Minimum 1 years-total experience in Supply Chain, Warehouse Operations, Program Management, Management Consulting, Strategy, or a related field. (preferably in a high-volume environment)
- Demonstrated success in cross-functional, global project/program execution.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication (spoken and written)
- Professional maturity, Autonomy and Rigor
- Sense of organization and priorities
- Ability to manage and self-manage
