Last Mile Operator - PUS - Jumia (Full Time)

The last mile operator will oversee activities, operations, and maintenance of the Pick-Up Stations.

What you will be doing

• Oversee day-to-day operations of Jumia Pick-Up stations.
• Customer reception and experience management
• Receipt of parcels to deliver 
• Coordinate process of delivery of parcels to customers 
• Oversee proper cancellation of certain orders 
• Ensure the creation of customer returns 
• The dispatch of cancellations and customer returns (delivery of parcels to the carrier) 
• Facilitate and coordinate collection of cash equivalent to the number of parcels delivered 
• Ensure the daily delivery of the cash collected to the banks / collection agents
• Instruct PUS supervisors on the placing orders on behalf of customers
• Other tasks related to the life of the station

What we are looking for

• A good bachelor’s or relevant degree
• Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Email, Internet etc.
• Proficient in Google Office Suite  – Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Gmail, etc.
• Minimum 1 years-total experience in Supply Chain, Warehouse Operations, Program Management, Management Consulting, Strategy, or a related field. (preferably in a high-volume environment)
• Demonstrated success in cross-functional, global project/program execution.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication (spoken and written)
• Professional maturity, Autonomy and Rigor
• Sense of organization and priorities
• Ability to manage and self-manage
