
Incubation/Acquisition Associate - Jumia (Full Time)

Main Responsibilities
● Identify and engage with vendors online, targeting high-potential sellers for the Jumia platform.
● Get quality leads by better targeting sellers on Social Media and other Marketplace Platforms
● Validate vendor suitability by assessing their products and business readiness.
● Persuade vendors to join Jumia by highlighting the platform’s value and sales potential.
● Guide vendors through the registration process, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
● Provide new sellers with the tools, resources, and support to succeed from day one.
● Incubate the (lead to live) vendors for 1 month after live to make sure they are engaged properly. Making sure that vendors are properly trained and able to self sustain post incubation period.
● Collect insights on market trends and vendor concerns to improve acquisition strategies.
● Regularly report on acquisition progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Required Skills & Qualification
● Strong communication and negotiation skills to engage and convince vendors.
● Experience in doing Tele - sales, Tele acquisition or Customer Service Sales
● At least 2 years of working experience, with a proven track record of meeting targets.
● Familiarity on to navigate and use Social Media (Facebook, Instagram,Tik Tok) and other marketplace platforms
● A self-motivated and adaptable attitude to work in fast-paced environments.
● Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office applications.
