What you will be doing


Inter-company Reconciliation & Reporting

  • Assist in performing monthly reconciliations of inter-company accounts, helping to identify and document discrepancies for review by the team.
  • Provide support identifying the balances to be settled.
  • Learn to prepare basic reports on inter-company balances and reconciliation status.

Transaction Processing & Documentation

  • Assist with the preparation and processing of inter-company invoices, ensuring data accuracy under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Help prepare and post basic inter-company journal entries, ensuring they are supported by proper documentation.
  • Gather documentation that supports the inter-company transactions.

Team Collaboration & Support

  • Help gather the information and documentation needed by the team to resolve inter-company discrepancies and disputes.
  • Participate in team meetings to gain an understanding of ongoing projects and challenges.

Month-End & Administrative Support

  • Assist with month-end close activities, including preparing basic journal entries and supporting documentation.
  • Provide general support for ad-hoc accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.

 

What we are looking for

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Good understanding of Accounting principles
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, formulas)
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment

 

This is not mandatory, but could help you stand out

  • Familiarity with financial systems or accounting software
