
HR National Service Personnel - Jumia (Full Time)

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented National Service Personnel to join our Human Resources team as an HR Intern. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to learn and support all aspects of Human Resources, from recruitment and onboarding to employee engagement and HR administration. What you will be doing:
- Maintain and update HR records and databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist in recruitment activities, including posting job ads, screening CVs, and scheduling interviews.
- Support the onboarding process for new employees, including documentation and orientation.
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and internal events.
- Prepare HR reports and presentations as needed.
- Help in managing employee leave records and attendance tracking.
- Participate in HR projects such as policy updates, training sessions, or surveys.
- Handle basic employee inquiries and direct complex issues to the HR team.
- Ensure compliance with HR procedures and company policies in all tasks.
What we are looking for:
- About to complete a degree/diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Eligible for National Service in the 2025/2026 intake cycle
- Strong interest in HR practices and a desire to build a career in Human Resources
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with employees and candidates
- Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Discreet and professional, with the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proactive and eager to learn, with a positive attitude
- Team player, adaptable, and willing to take initiative on assigned tasks
