Spearhead and manage two Accounts Payable teams in Tunisia and Porto, driving the accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and accruals. Act as a key contributor in month-end closing, P&L review, and process optimization!

  • Team Leadership & Management
    • Lead, coach, and develop AP teams across Tunisia and Porto, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
    • Promote cross-team knowledge sharing and process alignment.
  • Operational
    • Lead monthly closing tasks for AP areas, including accruals and invoice processing, ensuring all expenses are booked correctly and within tight deadlines.
    • Review P&L of central entities and Operating Companies (OpCos), explaining key variances, identifying errors, and recommending corrective actions.
    • Ensure deadline management for all AP deliverables, including the timely submission of reports and reconciliations.
  • Process Improvement
    • Play a key role in the implementation of the procurement tool and invoice processing systems, defining clear SLAs and monitoring adherence..
    • Monitor and report on KPIs and SLAs to ensure service quality and operational performance.
    • Oversee and improve/automate the accrual process to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

What we are looking for

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable or Finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role leading multi-location teams.
  • Solid AP expertise, including invoice processing, accruals, P&L analysis, payments, reconciliations, and month-end closing under tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills to review P&L, explain variances, detect errors, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Proven track record in managing KPIs, SLAs, and process compliance to drive service quality and operational performance.
  • Skilled in process improvement, automation, and standardization, with a continuous improvement mindset (Lean/Six Sigma is a "plus").
  • Audit experience (internal or external) is highly desirable.
  • Able to thrive under pressure, managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English; French is seen as an advantage, but not needed.
