We are seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our software engineering department. In this role, you will tackle complex challenges, design efficient deployment pipelines, and manage large-scale deployments of thousands of concurrent GPU servers. Key responsibilities:
- Design and implement sophisticated, flexible deployment pipelines, ensuring efficient, streamlined, and well-thought-out processes that promote scalability and reliability.
- Manage large-scale deployments of thousands of concurrent GPU servers, maintaining precise control over performance and efficiency.
- Leverage deep technical expertise to tackle complex challenges and deliver high-impact solutions in collaboration with the team.
- Conduct in-depth research, document best practices, and advocate for the adoption of robust, scalable architectures.
- Play a central role in building robust, testable, operable, and maintainable software.
Who we are looking for
- 5+ years of professional experience with AWS, with a strong emphasis on serverless architectures
- Deep expertise in TypeScript, Go, AWS, and security best practices
- Comprehensive understanding of at least one other leading cloud platform (Azure or Google Cloud).
- Strong proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)
- Extensive hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and Go
- Solid grasp of containerization technologies like Docker
- A formal computer science education is not required, we highly value demonstrable practical experience and a passion for innovation
- Highly adaptable and thriving in dynamic, fast-paced startup environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and effectively
- Professional fluency in English, both spoken and written
Nice to have:
- Experience in AWS CDK
- Experience in systems programming
- Experience in C
- Experience with low-latency video streaming systems
- Experience in graphics programming and rendering APIs such as DirectX, Vulkan or OpenGL
- Knowledge in the Wine ecosystem (Proton, VKD3D, etc.)
