Security Leader

To safeguard our talented people and protect our business, we are looking for an experienced, qualified and technically proficient Security Leader to oversee all security measures at Jonsson Manufacturing Lesotho (JML) in Maputsoe. In this key role, you will lead the security operations across multiple sites, ensuring the safety of our facilities, employees and assets.

Your key responsibilities will include:                                                                                                    

• Managing outsourced security staff across all JML locations
• Developing and executing security policies that reinforce safety at every level
• Implementing and overseeing physical security measures

Skills and qualifications required:

• Qualification in Security Management or related field
• Relevant Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSiRA) certification and current registration (mandatory)
• Military or police background preferred, with in-depth knowledge of Lesotho legislation
• Proven experience in security management, law enforcement or military roles
• Proficiency in security management software, surveillance systems and Microsoft Office
• Strong understanding of security principles, with expertise in crisis management
• Leadership experience with excellent team management skills
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to make swift, sound decisions
• Communication and interpersonal skills needed to communicate with staff across departments and locations
• Ability to proactively take charge in every situation
• Professionalism and integrity when handling sensitive security information
• Flexibility and commitment needed to respond to security incidents with urgency
• Physical stamina needed to swiftly move between multiple locations, all within walking distance
