Recently, we secured a strategic growth investment from Vista Equity Partners — a global technology investor specialising in enterprise software. This investment includes over £100 million in new primary capital and will fuel our next phase of growth by accelerating our AI-first roadmap, expanding our platform into CAFM (Computer-Aided Facilities Management) capabilities, and supporting our expansion across Europe and beyond.

As Joblogic is evolving into the first truly Agentic AI-driven FSM platform, our Vietnam team looking for an Engineering Manager who’s passionate about building systems that scale, who can bring structure to agility, and who’s excited by the kind of technological innovation and operational excellence that powers the AI-driven world.

As our Engineering Manager based in Ho Chi Minh City, you’ll lead the charge in ensuring our product features are delivered to market smoothly, efficiently, and with impact.
🌟 WHAT YOUR MAIN FOCUS WILL BE:
1. Technical Leadership & Architecture
- Own system architecture and technical direction across products
- Drive design decisions with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability
- Lead design reviews and ensure high engineering standards
- Provide technical guidance and unblock teams on complex problems
2. Engineering Excellence & Delivery
- Establish and enforce best practices across development, testing, and deployment
- Ensure high-quality, reliable, and scalable system delivery
- Drive continuous improvement in performance, stability, and engineering processes
- Partner with Product to ensure strong execution and predictable delivery
3. People Leadership & Team Performance
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of engineers and team leads
- Set clear goals, expectations, and performance standards
- Build a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning
- Support hiring and team scaling as the organization grows
4. Data-Driven Management & Reporting
- Track and analyze key engineering metrics (delivery, quality, incidents)
- Use data to drive decision-making and improve team performance
- Provide clear, structured updates to leadership and stakeholders
5. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product, Design, and Business teams to align priorities
- Ensure clear communication and strong ownership across teams
- Translate business needs into effective technical execution
🌟 WHAT YOU BRING:
✅ Technical Expertise (Core Requirement)
- 8+ years in software engineering with strong technical foundation
- Prior experience as Engineering Manager / Technical Manager
- Strong knowledge of:
- System design & architecture
- Scalable backend systems
- Database design & optimization
- Experience reviewing and guiding technical solutions (without coding)
✅ Leadership & Mindset
- Strong technical judgment and decision-making ability
- Ability to influence engineers without micromanaging
- Balance between technical depth and strategic thinking
- Passion for building high-quality engineering teams
✅ Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Strong communication skills in English
- Experience working with global teams (UK is a plus)
- Ability to translate business needs into technical direction

- Experience in B2B SaaS products
- Exposure to AI / data-driven systems
- Experience working with legacy systems modernization
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
