JOE & THE JUICE is a fast-growing concept offering freshly made juices, coffee, and sandwiches. Founded in Copenhagen in 2002, we serve products made to order—from explosive fruit juices and sandwiches to comforting coffees and teas. With 450 stores worldwide, we create lively moments in a welcoming and festive atmosphere, and we continue growing by opening new stores across our markets.
We are looking for a passionate Operations Manager ready to make our brand shine in the Dutch market and help us scale up. In this role, you will oversee all field operations in the Netherlands, ensuring operational excellence, strong team performance, and an outstanding customer experience at every touchpoint.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Team Management
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Area Managers to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the operations team.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development.
Operational Excellence
- Develop, implement, and optimize operating procedures to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor store performance metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and drive action plans.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements across all stores.
Financial Management
- Work closely with department leaders to develop and manage operational budgets, forecasts, and financial targets.
- Analyze financial reports and performance data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Implement strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining high-quality standards.
Your Profile
- 2–5 years of experience as an Operations Manager
- Experience in the Food & Beverage industry
- Experience with store openings and scaling operations is a plus
- Fluent in English and Dutch
- Strong knowledge of Profit & Loss (P&L) management and Labor Management
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, especially Excel
- Attentive to detail, highly organized, and results-driven
