The People Experience Student Assistant position plays a crucial role in supporting the business's daily operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of the People Department, facilitating seamless collaboration across People functions. Based at our Global HQ in Copenhagen, this role supports People Business Partners and Centres of Excellence, reporting to the People Experience Director. Additionally, the position collaborates closely with the global and regional People teams on enhancing employee engagement through sparring, and support on different global initiatives.

Your mission

We are looking for a curious and hands-on colleague who’s excited to learn and grow within People area. 

You don’t need a long HR background – what matters most is your mindset. If you’re proactive, detail-oriented, and motivated to understand how the business works behind the scenes, this could be a great next step for you. Studying something relevant (e.g. HR, business, law, etc.) is a plus, but not a requirement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain employment contracts, addendums, and HR documentation
  • Coordinate end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth employee experience
  • Maintain accurate employee data across HR systems and ensure data integrity
  • Support payroll processes in collaboration with finance and external providers
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and processes, escalating complex cases when needed
  • Keep the employee portal updated with relevant information and communications
  • Administer employee leave, including sick leave, parental leave, and vacation in accordance with Ferieloven
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices

Key Qualifications 

  • A hands-on and proactive mindset
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn new things
  • Strong attention to detail and a structured way of working
  • Strong communication skills, with fluency in both Danish and English
  • Pragmatic, detail-oriented, and collaborative approach with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Comfortable working with and adapting to different HR system
  • A team player who enjoys collaborating across functions
  • Interest in People/HR – experience is a plus, not a must

 

The part-time positions are estimated at 20 hours per week and located in our HQ in the center of Copenhagen.
